Redeem Skywards Miles on Emirates’ premium economy from 7,000 miles
Latest cabin offers luxurious seats, meals, and entertainment options
DUBAI – Emirates Skywards, the award-winning loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, has officially introduced flight rewards for its Premium Economy cabin, a highly anticipated development for its more than 35 million members worldwide.
The programme now allows members to redeem Skywards Miles on Classic Rewards and Upgrade Rewards for Emirates Premium Economy flights, reflecting the airline’s ongoing commitment to provide greater travel choices and unmatched benefits.
Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, stated: “We’re thrilled to announce the introduction of flight rewards on Emirates’ highly coveted Premium Economy cabin. This comes following strong demand from members who wish to utilise Miles on popular long-haul destinations including London, Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. Initially, this offer is exclusive to Skywards members, with plans to extend it to airline partners in the future.”
The Premium Economy offering allows members to experience Emirates’ newest cabin, designed to rival many airlines’ Business Class services in terms of comfort and luxury.
What are the Miles requirements?
Members can now redeem Skywards Miles to purchase a full Premium Economy flight ticket starting from 15,000 Miles one-way. Alternatively, passengers may request an upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy starting from 7,020 Miles, either prior to departure or at the Emirates check-in counter, subject to availability.
In addition, the loyalty programme has recently expanded Classic Rewards to all flydubai flights, starting at 5,000 Miles, alongside revised Cash+Miles rates. During the summer period (June to August 2025), close to 500,000 flight tickets were purchased using Classic Rewards, Cash+Miles, or Upgrade Rewards, for destinations including London, Paris, New York, and Bangkok.
